About Le Mans Classic
Over 500 cars competing are divided into six grids, each corresponding to a different period.
The models selected are those that took part in the Le Mans 24 Hours between 1923 and 1981.
Priority is given to cars that actually raced in the event at the time. A herringbone start, known as "Le Mans", as it was used from 1925 to 1969, will be organised for grids 1-2-3-4. The others, which are much faster, will start according to the rolling start procedure.
Racing begins at 4:00pm on the Saturday for 24 hrs with a break between 02:00 – 06:00 on the Sunday morning. Each grid will race three times over the 24 hours, each race lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Additional Support Races also take place to add to the action.

THE ITINERARY
DAY 1 – Thursday 3rd July
RENDEZVOUS IN REIMS
The home of Champagne, Reims is a 3 hour drive from Calais. We have chosen the Novotel Reims Tinqueux as it easy to get to, plenty of parking and very comfortable for one night
WELCOME DINNER
The Champagne House of Tattinger will be our venue, a short coach ride from the hotel for a fabulous welcome meal and cellar tour.
Coach transfers will be provided to and from the hotel. It's time to meet your fellow guests, look forward to the next few days and discuss all things classic!

DAY 2 – Friday 4th July
THE DRIVE TO LE MANS
Two route options will be provided for the 345km drive. A fast direct route for those who wish to get to the circuit or a more scenic, longer route for those who wish to take their time, avoiding tolls. Or you can just chose to find your own way there.
On arrival at Le Mans you will enjoy free VIP parking and a shuttle service will take you to the “Privilege Hospitality Suite” which will be your base for the next 3-days and includes Michelin starred catering and an open bar.
We will provide your VIP Passes and answer any questions you might have about the upcoming weekend.
Depart after dinner from the circuit at your leisure and head for the Chateau de la Vaudere which is a 15 min drive from the circuit for drinks.

DAY 3 & 4 – Saturday & Sunday
QUALIYING & RACES
Transport is provided to take you to and from the Le Mans Circuit each morning & evening. or you can chose to drive in. Conveniently located in the heart of the Le Mans Classic Village the Privilege Suite offers an uninterrupted view of the track, pitlane exit, start/finish straight and the sweeping bend towards the Dunlop Chicane.
Your paddock pass will allow you to get up close and personal with the drivers and cars
You also have reserved seats in the exclusive VIP grandstand from which you have an unobstructed view of the cars as they lunge across the finish line.
Behind the pits and in the paddocks there's also an ever-growing number of exhibitors with stalls dedicated to motorsport. Displaying scale models, books, watches, clothes, jewellery, helmets, paintings, sculptures and antique automobilia as old as the race itself.
